Interns in the Education and Youth Development programme will engage directly with local youth in Crossroads, Cape Town, and Tarkastad, Eastern Cape. They will assist in the delivery of educational programmes aimed at improving literacy, numeracy, and life skills.

The Mental Health and Nutrition internship focuses on promoting mental wellbeing and nutritional health among vulnerable youth in the community. Interns will work alongside professionals to deliver mental health workshops and nutritional programmes.

Social Work interns will engage with individuals and families in Crossroads and Tarkastad, addressing a range of social issues. This role involves both direct service delivery and community development activities.

This internship focuses on enhancing community involvement and fostering a sense of belonging among residents. Interns will work on various outreach projects, engaging with community members and organising activities.

Accommodation and Duration

  • Cape Town (Muizenberg): Shared bedroom is £400/month, excludes food (self catering).
  • Tarkastad: Shared bedroom is £350/month, excludes food (self-catering).

You can, of course, choose to find private accommodation independently.

  • The internship is over the summer holidays and 4-weeks long.
